Cheryl,
I enjoyed reading your list, as I'm always on the look-out for books and music recommendations. I was especially glad to learn that you're a fan of "The Hiding Place". I don't purchase near as many books as I read, preferring to use the library as often as possible, but that one's a keeper, and I have read my copy many times. I also have to agree with your vote for Bill Bryson as an author that can make you laugh! Have you read his "Notes From A Small Island" or "A Walk In The Woods"? Two more "keepers". :-)
Keeping you all in my prayers,
Vicki K. (Sherwood in Odessa)
