I remember you from Camp Gemunden (in 92 or 93, I think) - just came across your blog and thought I'd say "hi"! :) Its neat to read about your mission work :)
I don't have a blog, but you can see a funny video of my baby if you want here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGC9XhfEC_k
Have a great day!!
P.S. You prob already know this but www.recipezaar.com and www.allrecipes.com are great
Down here in Bolivia I was doing the same, listening to my Christmas CD's, marveling at the Christmas tree that made it in our container, and making my first pie crusts. no quick trips to wal-mart to the freezer section, no just hours of pouring over my recipe books and building up the courage to try :) and our teammates said it was worth the courage, our pumpkin, pecan, and chocolate chip pies all turned out great. it's the little things that God blesses us with amidst the being far from home that makes it all worth while. God bless you and yours this holiday season.
