“Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead---since he was about a hundred years old---and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.” Romans 4: 18-21
I’ve been relishing the reawakening of hope in my spirit. Hope that I had surrendered to a current deluge of not so great…facts.
Realizing, that my hope had been temporarily misplaced. On people. On plans. On the Seen.
When the only safe and sure place for Hope…is with the Promise Keeper. The All Powerful.
Jehovah.
He. Never. Fails.
“…I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” Mark 9:24

Your post makes me think of Jeff singing that song, "Man Will Let You Down" but "Jesus NEVER Fails". Bless you~
My brother Tod spoke those words at my uncle's funeral yesterday--we hope in what is not seen. It's really the only way we can endure suffering. We are hanging on to that hope so tightly right now, as I know you are. What we see and hold onto is so very temporary. What we hope in is eternal. We're here, praying and holding your arms up in the battle for things eternal.
This blog entry is an answered prayer! Praise God for His faithfulness! Praise God for giving us the strength and trust to renew our hope in Him! We continue to join you in this fierce spiritual battle. Our Lord is victorious!
So are you planning to have another baby like Abraham and Sarah?
Sorry--couldn't resist!
It is hard to put faith in the unseen, especially if we feel God is requesting or promising the impossible. We had you in prayer this week.
Cheryl,
Whatever situation you are facing may God bless you with the faith to put it and leave it in His hands. "His power can work immeasurably more than we can think or imagine." Grace and peace, Diane
Love you, friend! I've been praying for you.
Peace, sister. You are on my heart.
Sister Cash. I have been in prayer and will continue to be. God bless you all and I Pray that I get to see you soon.
